I finally got my Wacom drawing tablet!
I fooled around with it for a couple hours to get the feel of it. It's so awesome. :faint: It's much better than a laptop mouse. ;)
So, I did some research on dA by looking around at all the amazing digital portraits, and decided to start my own.

This is Jude Law, and my first attempt at digital art ever. I drew everything on this from scratch on the computer. I used a reference, but no copying or tracing was involved. If you'd like me to post some progress pics, just comment so here.

It was really quite fun doing this.
I'd really appreciate some tips on digital portraits if any of you have any. I'd love to do more of these. I really had no clue what I was doing on this, though. XD I just went about it like I would do a drawing.

wooooooooo thats very realistic. Great work! One thing I think you could improve on which would make this even better is to detail the ears alittle more. But apart from that an amazing piece.
